The term, "urbanization," itself means to move from one's current location to a more urban or more developed area, ideally for better job opportunities and a better standard of living. While in theory this can lead to a higher employment rate and more prosperity, often times, it is carried out in an unplanned manner which can lead to severe ramifications for the city and its inhabitants.

Through this website, we hope to show you how serious of an issue, "rapid urbanisation," is, what people from different cultures think of it, and what steps can be implemented by us as individuals and the government to raise awareness about it, and help solve it.
